Open Sans is our free open-source corporate font and should be used throughout all communications.
Available in a big range of weights, we recommend using Open Sans Regular (weight 300) for body text.
Open Sans bold is used for headlines.

Helvetica
Helvetica can be used for external communications materials as a headline, sub-heading, titles, introduction and captions. Please note that Helvetica requires font licensing. We highly encourage to use Open Sans and HK Grotesk open-source.
Hierarchy
We have three typographic tiers:

Headlines: Open Sans bold + HK Grotesk bold

Subheader: Open Sans medium + semibold or HK Grotesk bold + semibold

Body text: Open Sans regular + light or HK Grotesk regular
Kerning
Kerning adjusts the space between the letterforms. For best visibility, kerning should be set to optical.
Tracking
Tracking adjusts spacing over a range of characters. For best legibility it should be set to O.
Word spacing
The best correct spacing is 95% for running text and 90% for headlines above 40pt.
